About us
Twenty years of experience in the energy sector
The CRESCOM Group has been steadily expanding its portfolio since 2003. In 2014, it added solutions for the efficient use of renewable energy sources. As a key supplier and sales partner of Hungary’s first solar panel factory, established in Szolnok, it took part in the implementation of international solar power plant projects. Later, in addition to solar panels, CRESCOM Kft. expanded its activities to include sales of inverters to residential customers. More recently, the group’s activities have been extended to include the distribution and installation of residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale energy storage systems, as well as the supply of the main components (solar panels, inverters) for large-scale solar parks.
Alongside its experience in energy projects, the group benefits from direct supplier relationships in China. Its logistics company also has more than 20 years of experience in transporting dangerous goods from China to Hungary.

Manufacturer relationships and construction
Together with our partners, we are able to deliver complete projects, including design, permitting and construction, with flexible payment terms offered by our Chinese partners. In Hungary, CRESCOM ELECTRA Kft. holds the exclusive distribution rights for the battery energy storage systems of JD Energy, a manufacturer listed as Tier 1 by BloombergNEF and preferred partner of CATL. A major advantage of JD Energy’s storage systems is that they combine CATL batteries on the DC side with PCS and BMS systems developed in-house by JD Energy.
Cabinet-based and containerised systems allow flexible scaling to meet clients’ power and energy capacity requirements precisely. As part of a complete solution, JD Energy can also supply transformers manufactured in China alongside its battery energy storage systems. Every product has CE certification and the certificates required by the relevant DSOs. Experience shows that JD Energy’s integrated control systems enable commissioning to be completed within one week.
In addition to JD Energy, we maintain relationships with CATL, HiTHIUM, Sineng and Kehua and distribute their products. Over the past year, the CRESCOM Group has participated in energy storage projects with a total commissioned capacity of 128 MWh. Projects with a further 159 MWh of capacity are currently under implementation.
